Millä konstilla bambu taipuu parhaiten?

Tarkotuksena olis tehdä bambu-bambu laminaattijousi ja päihin staattiset vastakaaret. Eli laminaatteja pitäis etukäteen jollain konstilla taivuttaa. Olisko höyryttäminen vai kuumailmapistooli hyvä idea?

Kuumailmapistoolilla taipuu hyvin.
Muodonmuutos tuntuu tapahtuvan samalla kun väri muuttuu tummemmaksi. Ei tarvitse pitää kauaa muotissa, vaikuttaa että jää samantien siihen mihin on taivutettu.
En usko että höyryllä onnistuu, se ei ole riittävän kuumaa. Bambuhan ei ole puuta vaan ruokoa.
Kokeile ensin jämäpaloilla.
