Onko kukaan ostanut mitään EBAY:stä?
Mitä tulee maksaan jousistaavin/staavien shippaus?
Arvaan että paljon, mutta kuinka paljon.
Alkaa toi Värimulperi (osage) <Maclura pomifera> kiinnostamaan...
Toinen mikä tuli mieleen oli, että jos ostaisi muutaman staavin täällä olevien kanssa samalta myyjältä, jonka kanssa sopisi, että se laskuttaisi kepit, kun huudot on menneet läpi, mutta lähettäisi sitten kun ollaan saatu nippu kasaan samalla maksaisimme kulut. |

| Haa, en hokannut aluksi että tarkoitit staavia. Tuo hinta-arvio on siis billeteille. Pitkän kepin kulut ovat eri asia, veikkaan että menee reilusti yli satasen. |

Taitaa muistaakseni mennä jopa yli kahden sadan jos paketti on parimetrinen.
Pitäisi kehittää joku verkosto missä lentokonematkustajat veisivät jousipuita ja jousia matkatavaroina.
Ei nimittäin ole jousien kuljetus viemäriputkeen pakattuna maksanut mitään ylimääräistä, joutuu vaan viemään "bulky baggage"-hihnalle.

Mistä te tollasia hintoja revitte? Taitaa olla myyjän omia pakkaus yms. laitettu päälle?
Vuonna 2002 62" osage steivi tuli lentorahtina ovelle toimitettuna USPS:n toimesta. Postikulut oli reilu 20$
Stick'n Stonesin tyyppi kertoi jotain niinkuin että normaali "maa" posti maksaa melkein saman ja aikaa menee tuplasti. Nyt meni aika tarkalleen 2 viikkoa..
Kannattaa kysellä sieltä mistä se tavara tulee, paikalliset tietää miten se menee. |

Tasan yksi myyjä oli listannut postikulut. Niillä oli
$50.60 130cm (52") "Staavista". Aika moni oli laittanut etää myy vain US tai US+Canada. Muilla ei näkynyt postikuluja.
Kysyin yhdeltä joka myy osagea(le_enteprise) ja myy sitä nebraskasta ja lähetää minne vain. Kerron jos/kun tulee vastauksia. |

| Muistelen että raja menee noin 170 sentissä, kaikki sen alle on vielä edullista mutta sitten sitä pidemmät maksaa pirusti. |

| Jenkeistä kaksimetrisiä sotajousisteivejä Englantiin tilanneet ovat puhuneet noin <200e lähetyskuluista. Tulee puunpalalle suolainen hinta. |

Here is some information on shipping:
70 inch staves can only be shipped by Airmail and the maximum weight per bundle is
66 pounds with 4 to 10 days delivery time.
The maximum length for Economy mail is 42 inches and the maximum weight per bundle
is 70 pounds with 4 to 6 weeks delivery time.
The following are some cost examples:
10 pounds-----by Airmail $44.55
by Economy mail $25.05
30 pounds-----by Airmail $107.75
by Economy mail $44.55
50 pounds-----by Airmail $171.00
by Economy mail $62.45
66 pounds-----by Airmail $221.60
by Economy mail $76.80
70 pounds-----by Economy mail $81.20
I ship 40 inch staves to other countries in Europe for making two piece bows. This
way they can be shipped by Economy mail and save a great amount on postage. Maybe
this would not work for you. USPS Postal Service is the least expensive method of
shipment for me.
For your information I also sell staves privately. As for buying on Ebay, I will be
happy to accumulate staves until a bundle is filled. I look forward to working with

USPS Economy on muuten sitten lakkautettu painaville tavaroille viime maanantaina.
Eli siis Värimulperin(osage orage) billettien tilaus jenkeistä maksaa nyt sitten osapuilleen tuplat mitä ennen. |
