This is Part 1-4 showing how I make a primitive bow. This video covers selecting wood, splitting the log, and basic wood removal and shaping with a draw knife. More videos will follow showing the entire process, from start to finish. For all of you who requested these videos, I have heard you and I will be working hard to finish the entire series and get them uploaded as soon as possible. Thank you for your comments and your passion in keeping these skills alive. This series is for you! Some music (Finding the Balance) by Kevin Macleod (www.incompetech.com). Videography, storyline, narration and editing by: Billy Berger.

Ahu`.
There is everything for primitive bow in one video.
Very clear and all the good main points of making is comin`out.

Only one thing in that bow wasn`t so primitive to my eye. The handle is more like modern style and "window" beside of it.
Ok, it really will make it more centershot, but mainly primitive bows haven`t that kind of "window".
I like more smaller handels and without "window".
But everyone can choose as hard way as want, to do it.
